Description
This TB Study #2 addresses some of the concerns on topside weight, by eliminating the aft deck house & staggering the torpedo mounts. Also dropped the semaphore lamp to the bridge deck & the forward spot light to the flying bridge deck. As before the ship is mildly modular as you can replace a torpedo mount or two with different weapons (1 x 4" or 2 x 25mm mounts per replacement).
Redid it again to further reduce the topside & bring it more in line with the WW1 & pre war era look. This reduces topside weight & also the ships visual signature. I cut the stacks down a bit & as William Curry & Charles Simpson say, this will affect the draft through the boilers, but it was done in WW2 to the Lend Lease DDs, so it can be done. Maybe adjusting the blower speed settings to maintain the correct draft. I'm not an expert on steam power, sue me.

I certainly like it. But the biggest problem I got is range. How far can this thing go before it's out of fuel?
